We’ve made it to another Monday!

Today’s Meet Me Monday question is: What do you do to destress?

There’s nothing as calming for me to close the shades a little and crawling into bed to enjoy the silence

I recently learned that I’m an ISFJ personality type and like most introverted people, I need to withdraw to recharge and destress, which is a little hard to do with my little guys running around the house. When there’s another adult around to watch the boys, I like to hide in my room. Just 30 minutes of laying on my bed and reading or playing with my phone is enough to give me a boost to make it through the day.

How about you? What do you do to relax and get rid of stress?

Usually I listen to music, drink coffee, and exercise.

As of late, I’ve *really* broadened my musical tastes which I actually *just* talked about here: http://whatsuptom.com/musical-education/.

I know coffee is supposed to be a stimulant, but it’s always been one of those things that helps me chill out.

Finally, exercise is one of those things that’s nice to do to get away from the computer, disconnect, and work the body a bit more than the brain. You know how it goes — :flexes: — gotta pump that iron.

  2. Love this! I am INFJ but sometimes feel like I strattle the line between N and S. I am a big introvert too for sure but being a mom has helped me come out of my shell.

My de-stressing is usually some quiet time too. 15 minutes to catch up on Instagram and blogs and I’m recharged. Mostly…ha ha! If not, a nap or some chocolate sometimes helps too 😉
