Our freezer is getting pretty full so, while there are some things that will just have to wait, I’m making it a priority to use as much food from the freezer as possible over the next few weeks. We have a large chest freezer (this guy) in the basement and we’re struggling to find room for groceries right now. We need to use it up!

Sunday
Lunch: Hopcat (sandwiches and incredible fries)
Dinner: Nothing. Brian and I were both too exhausted from a really busy weekend to bother eating

Monday
Lunch: (B) Last of the chicken noodle soup and rosemary and olive oil bread, (K) Spinach salad with mushrooms, onion, chicken, peas, and cheddar and rosemary and olive oil bread
Dinner: Pasta with chucky meat sauce with added zucchini, garlic bread, and fresh green beans *

Tuesday
Lunch: (B) Sandwich, (K) I think I forgot to eat
Dinner: (B) Pub food with the college students, (K) Nachos!

Wednesday
Lunch: (B) Chicken tenders, fries and 5 onion rings, (K) Green beans and Brian’s leftover fries
Dinner: Junk food **

Thursday
Lunch: Mac and cheese
Dinner: Grilled ham and cheese on rosemary and olive oil bread

I stopped recording what we ate after Thursday and truthfully, nothing we had last week is worth remembering. Hot weather threw us off so we ate whatever sounded good which made for a lot of skipped meals. Ben ate much better than we did last week!

* A friend of ours asked if I’d be intersted in some fresh green beans since their garden was producing far more than they could eat or freeze. I love green beans and so does Ben so I told her I’d love some. She came over with at least 15 lbs of beans! I’ve been working on freezing them all in meal size portions but we’re also eating as many as we can fresh.

** I think it must have been the hot, muggy weather but neither of us felt like eating much this week. We ate whatever sounded good and would get stuff out of the freezer.
